Terror

Feb 2 2015

Age 21

Lucid nightmare paired with sensation.  Most likely due to marijuana.

Lale held me. He was stern and protective as always.

How it began: I saw the flashing creature again before my eyes. It crawled up from under my bed.  I was lying on my right side and I watched it come up, one shimmering digit at a time.  When it touched me, it hurt.  Like being scalded or shocked by static, though the pain was prolonged.  I started to squirm and writhe but I couldn't really move.  The creature had two arms, a middle pair of limbs, and two legs.  It was six-limbed like back in 2011.  It had the same shining eyes shaped like rounded diamonds set into an oblong skull, and it bore the same after-image body as before.

It crawled over me.  It leaned down and bit my lips and chin, like it was chewing.  Every time I freak out I reach instinctively for Lale; this time was no different.

This time, he appeared in bed behind me.  I felt his arms circle me and hold me close.  One arm was between my waist and the bed while the other covered my left arm, his firm hands bracing my neck.  I felt his hair somehow appear against my face.  I heard his voice in my ear.  This time, I don't remember his words, but his murmured tone was as firm as I remember.

I woke up and looked for him.  The older I get, the less sad I feel realizing he's not really out here.
